<p>Hi!
</p><p>What would you think about a chat bot for this wiki? Sort of like the one they have on the My Little Pony chat. If a user curses, then the bot will automatically kick the user.
Next, everything on chat (except PMs) will be logged and put into a directory which would be helpful for all the "he did this" or "she did this" reports.
</p><p>Sactage is open to chat bot requests here, and I think it would be very helpful to our community.

<p> Oppose — I don't think there's a need for this since we have chat mods. Also, I'm a firm believer in the idea that the people who make up a discussion are the most aware of what happened. I think we should respect the users on chat to be able to hold each other accountable for their actions and go to a chat mod or admin to deal with conflicts if necessary. There may also be conflicts between users that started on PM or another place and it's not our responsibility to go through logs to determine who's at fault if it didn't involve us or we don't know the whole story.
</p><p>Also, I'm sure many will be intimidated by a bot logging everything they say on chat, and people won't feel as free to talk. I want the wiki to remain a safe and friendly environment, and I think this would affect the ability of users to get close on chat.
</p><p>Last thing is that a bot is a bot. It can't respond specifically to different situations, and I don't like the idea of creating a list of exact things that aren't allowed and will get you kicked. I think it's a better idea to give a general behavior (like being respectful and friendly) rather than listing specific things people can't say.

Lolno the chat bot can view all conversations except for PMs.
