The trial period for the temporary adminship is now over. I have restored the user rights to their previous state. Some time this week I will be chatting with ArianaGrandeForever to talk about a more permanent permanent user rights configuration. Thank you to everyone who did the temporary adminship and your work will be evaluated.

This temporary admin gig will probably end in mid to late July. The reason it's gone on far longer than initially planned is because finding work took much longer than I expected and I'm doing orientation tomorrow for my new job. So in about a month I'll demote all the temporary admins and make decisions on permanent user rights arrangements to (in consultation with ArianaGrandeForever if she's back online by then. Until then, just working on proving your worth to the wiki as an admin. That means performing admin tasks. Good luck everyone.

I'm trying to get a job that's 22.5 hours a week, and if I get it I won't be on as much. I don't know if we'll need new admins to cover for me, but it's a possibility. So I'm running a temporary admin search. The reason I'm calling it a temporary admin search is because the whoever gets rights will have them for 2 weeks, while the current team judges their performance. At that point we'll demote the temporary admins and open up nominations for permanent positions depending on our needs. Anyone who does well as a temporary admin will have a much better shot at gaining rights when nominations open up, so if you want to prove yourself with rights, here's your chance. As this is a trial thing I will be watching the temporary admins closely, and any decision they make can be appealed directly to me or ArianaGrandeForever Current rollbacks and chat mods will be preferred, but you can apply even if you don't have those rights. I'll also accept work on other wikis as evidence of competence, but history on this wiki is strongly preferred. You may suggest anyone you feel is good for the job as well. Reply to this message if you're interested. I'm hoping to have requests in by Saturday night, then a decision should be made by Monday.

Looks like the comments on the page are back so I've unlocked it the comments.
(Edited by 3cooldog92)

As I said before I'll have to lock the comments section on the special page again while the comments migrate to the new title. I have created a blog post where you can discuss the episode until the comments move. Hopefully it will take less than 24 hours.

As you guys know we'll have to lock the comments section again to let the comments migrate to new name of the special page, which will require the comments section to be locked for 24 hours. Rosandra suggested I start this process at night so it it so most of the time the lock is in place is when everyone is sleeping and at school. We'd need to be aware of time zone issues for this to work since users here are from all over the world. So it would really help if everyone would answer 2 questions so I know when to lock this:

1: What time zone are you in?

2. What time do you go to bed?

I noticed a dispute over whether to include "unedited" versions in the Wake Up with Sam and Cat. Some users say it's true, others have removed the info on the grounds it's not sourced. I think a great way to find a solution to this issue would be to find the clip of the promo online somewhere and that would solve the issue once and for all. So if anyone out there is able to either find such a clip or upload one themselves that would be much appreciated. Please contact me if anyone is able to do this. Also, just a general note on edit warring. If you make a change to an article and it gets reverted, rather than add it back it's better to discuss the edit with the reverter or ask an admin for help. Constantly undoing each others' edits isn't productive at all and usually leads to me locking the pages, and I don't like having to do that.

We finally got around to holding a vote on the featured content. We put everything that was nominated since the content was last updated in the poll and this will be updated for January. Go here to vote!

This wiki has been growing tremendously in the year 2013. The wiki has became very popular, with more than 1,000 users. To start off the new year I propose that 3cooldog92 and I get promoted to bureaucrats in order to make assigning administrators and rollback rights easier.

If you have an opinion on the matter, use the {{Support}}, {{Neutral}}, and {{Oppose}} templates as usual and express your opinion. Thank you for reading and we look forward to hearing your opinions.

I've unlocked the page and turned the comments back on as it appears the the comments moved to the new title over night.

We have a situation with the page about the special episode where Freddie, Robbie, and Jade return. We finally got a title for it so I renamed the page. Unfortunately not all the comments carried over to the new title. Then someone accidentally recreated the old title and all the original comments appeared. So I don't know what's going on. Guess someone thought it would be a bright idea to only carry over some arbitrary number of comments in a page move (55 in this case). So I've contacted staff and hopefully they'll help us. In the meantime I've locked both titles and disabled the comments sections on the pages affected to prevent the situation from getting any messier while we await staff's assistance. I apologize for the inconvenience. Hopefully this should be fixed in a day or two.

Just letting you guys know we have a List of minor characters now for characters we don't have enough information about to justify an article. If there are only 1 or sentences you can write about a character, please just make a new section on the page instead of creating a new page for the character. Thanks.

We forgot to do featured stuff for November so we're just gonna leave it up until the start of December. But to get this featured stuff back on track I'll ask you guys to nominate stuff in each catetory in the comment section of the featured page. I'll also take into account anything nominated after October 1. I'll set up the poll on the 20th so people will have about a week and half to vote on December's content.

It has come to my attention that certain users (won't name names here) have been recruiting users who aren't members of this wiki to intervene on their side in disciplinary issues regarding them. I've been discussing this with ArianaGrandeForever and we decided to post this as fair warning to anyone who decides to do this: It won't be tolerated. It's not fair to anyone in this community to have nonmembers butting into disputes on wikis they're not even part of and disturbing the peace. The admin team here has discretion to issue a block without warning to anyone who shows up here solely to demand the admin team, or this wiki in general do or don't do something. Not saying that's how it will go down is every case but it's definitely a possibility that anyone engaging in this type of behavior should consider. Also, any member found recruiting users from elsewhere to engage in this type of behavior will be held responsible for any issues that result.

So why are we doing this? On a practical level we don't want any more drama than necessary. Keeping the peace is a priority here. On a more philosophical level this whole thing boils down to the fact that the admin team serves the members here, not all the users someone can drag in on their side of a dispute. The users that spend their time building this place up and creating a friendly environment are the ones that have the right to request a change or complain about something. We don't serve users who only show up to disturb the peace. Bottom line: If you're not a member of this wiki then you have no right to demand anything from this wiki. If you're not on this wiki the assumption is that you either don't want to be here for whatever reason or you don't like how we do things. Either way you have two choices. Stay off the wiki or become a productive user and earn the right to request a change or make a complaint. The admin team here cares deeply about the users here (the ones who've been working hard to make this place great) and it's not fair for them to have to endure pointless drama from users who expect to have the same right to demand things from the wiki when they haven't earned it like our regular contributors. If you'll notice our members don't show up on your wikis and demand changes be made to the way you run things. I think it's reasonable of us to ask that you give us the same courtesy. So I seriously advise everyone, members and nonmembers, not to do this type of stuff or encourage it since nonmembers don't have a stake in what goes on here. In other words, it's not our job to deal with users from other wikis who feel they can demand we do something. It's not fair to the users here who have earned the right to have a say in the community to have users who aren't part of this wiki to demand a say in the way we do thing without earning it, disturbing the peace for our members in the process. They have a right to a peaceful atmosphere and no one has the right to disturb that for the sake of trying to get their friend out of trouble.

That said, I want to make sure I'm not misunderstood. If you've been on this wiki contributing productively, you're fully within your rights to request a change or complain if you feel something is unfair. Like I said earlier, this admin team cares deeply about all the users who have worked so hard to make this wiki the amazing place it is. If you feel something is unfair, please feel free to talk to an admin about it. I very strongly enourage anyone who has a suggestion to let us know. We will make sure your concerns are addressed. To do this you can post on an admin's wall or the Administrator's noticeboard (generally an admin's wall is better since we actually get notified). As I said, we greatly value any suggestions to improve the wiki or correct a something that was unfair.

In conclusion, ArianaGrandeForever and I are both commited to protecting the users here from having to deal with drama that could easily be avoided by people not on our wiki butting into our wiki affairs.

As announced previously, Cc71 and I will be stepping down as administrators of this wiki. We conducted an admin search to find the best candidates to replace us and we'd like to thank everyone who took the time to apply. The new administrators of this wiki will be ArianaGrandeForever and 3cooldog92.

In addition, this wiki will have two new rollbacks to help out, Jeminali and Teenj. The administration page has been updated and also explains the rights and duties these users have received if there's any confusion.

We wish the new administration best of luck in keeping this wiki running smoothly and congratulate them on their newly obtained rights :)

Due to the previous events, my co-admin 3cooldog92 and I decided to add a new rule in the policies page. Since several users copied information and codes from this wiki, this new policy rule does not allow users to copy codes without permission or without crediting us.

If you have any comments about this rule, please say so down below. Thank you.

Cooldog and I have been discussing about new policies. After discussing it on chat, we decided that users may not butt into situations that do not involve you to prevent user disputes.

If any user dispute occurs on this wiki, please leave the disciplining to the admins. Thank you. If there are any questions or objections to this new policy rule, please say so below.
