Melanie Puckett is a character on Sam & Cat and the identical twin sister of Sam Puckett. She appears to be nicer and kinder than Sam is. Melanie also made an appearance in an episode of iCarly. On Sam & Cat, she appeared in #Twinfection.
Like Sam, she is portrayed by Jennette McCurdy.

Background[]
Melanie and Sam were both born on a city bus. When they were five, they made a twinpact that if either of them need their twin-ocity to trick someone, the other will be there. Before Sam left Seattle, Melanie came to visit, much to Sam's dismay. She appeared in the episode iTwins, and was briefly mentioned in iThink They Kissed and iSam's Mom.

Melanie came to LA after Sam called her so she could trick Cat. Melanie pretended to be Sam's evil twin until after she kissed Cat and Sam had Cat drink the "remedy". Melanie came in and danced with Sam, Cat, and Myron and Byron Miller.
Personality[]
Melanie's personality is the complete opposite of Sam's. She gets straight A's and goes to a fancy boarding school. She is also sweet, classy, and overly nice. Sam admits Melanie makes her sick since Melanie is the opposite of her. Melanie is also known to be very shy.

Sam and Melanie were both born on a city bus. They are polar opposites, though they're identical twins. Melanie is the more responsible one of the two.

Cat and Melanie met when Melanie pretended to be Sam's evil sister and officially when Melanie revealed herself as Sam's twin. Melanie has shown remorse for tricking Cat as she said guiltily, "She made me do it."
