Michael Thomas Corcoran (born December 9, 1972), known professionally as Backhouse Mike or Ken Lofkoll, is an American record producer, composer, musician, and singer who wrote and provided vocals for the Sam & Cat theme song, Just Fine.[1]

In addition to his work on Sam & Cat, Corcoran has composed and scored over 150 episodes of other Nickelodeon programming including Drake & Josh, Zoey 101, iCarly, and Victorious, including writing the theme songs for iCarly, Merry Christmas Drake & Josh, Drake & Josh Go To Hollywood, Victorious (with Dr. Luke) and The Troop. 80% of its revenue comes from the music scenes and the music on the TV programs shown on Nickelodeon.[source?]

  • In late 2012, Corcoran began dating actress and singer Elizabeth Gillies, who starred as Jade West on Victorious, and later reprised the same role on #ThatKillerTunaJump. The two were married on August 9, 2020, in a private ceremony in Chesterfield Township, New Jersey.
